Fontsmith founder Jason Smith asked me to write a piece about Milton Glaser for the second issue of TypeNotes magazine.

Last week Matt was invited to speak at the Aspire Programme 2013, an event taking place in Antwerp for creatives from different design disciplines from across Belgium. The event explored leadership and business growth in the 21st Century.

A couple of weeks ago we were in New York. I had the honour of spending time with two design legends – Ivan Chermayeff and Milton Glaser.

Matt and his brother Jonathan are in the process of making a short documentary about their father Bob Rudd, and his work as a painter. Matt has started composing music for the documentary.

Matt was in Scotland earlier this month. Whilst most of the UK was enjoying lovely weather, the North West of Scotland was typically changeable and extreme.
